Empowered Independent Care, Inc. is committed to providing physical, emotional, spiritual educational, advocacy, and support services to ensure individuals and their loved ones who are facing life-limiting illness are ensured a nurturing and supportive environment. In addition to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic services and activities to those who are entitled to and in need of end-of-life care, our specialized team consists of a palliative Care trained medical director, who works with the individual’s primary /chosen physician, Hospice and Palliative trained Nurses, Social workers, Spiritual Counselors/Chaplains, Home Health Aides, Volunteers, Bereavement/Grief Counselors, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists to enhance independence.
Our Hospice interdisciplinary team is focused on the individual and their unique care needs: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and cultural. Our goal is to provide comfort, relieve, physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering, and to respect and promote the dignity of terminally ill patients and their loved ones.
